BRENNTAG takes great effort in providing products and solutions that pose no threat to the environment. Our Health, Safety and Environment policy has led to the development of a number of environmentally friendly products.
N-SPEC® 50 and T-3000E
BRENNTAG pipeline cleaning products N-SPEC® 50 and N-SPEC® 50E* as well as salt inhibitor T-3000E have been successfully tested according the HOCNF (Harmonised Offshore Chemical Notification Format) for aquatic toxicity, biodegradation and bioaccumulation in marine environments. These tests are universally accepted in the North Sea countries and are recommended by the Ospar guidelines. Based on these positive test results, Scandinavia and the UK have officially approved these chemicals for use in offshore areas

SCC** Certification

In August 2005 BRENNTAG Oil & Gas Europe was SCC** certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance for their HSE working procedures. SCC** (Safety Checklist Contractors) is an international safety checklist to demonstrate that a contractor is in compliance with key requirements according HSE legislation. |
The checklist is applied and recognized in several EU member states. BRENNTAG Oil & Gas has been certified for their technical support, distribution of chemicals and its accompanying service to the oil and gas producing and processing industry.
